About the Author Paula Nicolson is Professor Emeritus, in the Department of Social Work at Royal Holloway, University of London, as well as a founder member of the British Psychological Society’s Psychology of Women Section. She is a Fellow and chartered member of the BPS, Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences and has worked as an academic psychologist since 1978. She is author of many psychology books and now also writes novels with a psychological theme.
