Art of Foundation Engineering Practice (GSP 198) honours Clyde N. Baker, Jr., P. E. S.E. Honorary Member of ASCE. For more than 50 years Clyde Baker has made distinguished contributions to the advancement of foundation engineering design, analysis, construction, and monitoring starting with the early Chicago high-rise buildings up to the world's current record-setting skyscrapers. It contains 38 technical papers contributed by professors, researchers practicing structural and geotechnical engineers, and contractors.
