Minimally Invasive Otological Surgery

This book/CD-ROM package details various minimally invasive procedures used in otological surgery, all of which were developed by the authors. Indications, surgical techniques, postoperative care, complications, and the authors' experiences and results are described. The book explains how to set up the procedure room and necessary equipment, how to perform anesthesia, and how to complete current procedural terminal (CPT) coding. Many b&w images taken with otoscopic equipment are included, and appendices cover financing, coding, operative notes, and patient information. The companion CD-ROM contains 25 video clips, corresponding to book chapters, taken by the authors during minimally invasive office procedures, with narration explaining each clip.
