Bloodborne Pathogens Clbpa

For all workers. This course presents a simple approach to workplace hazards and avoiding personal exposure and potential infection. Topics include most common bloodborne pathogens as well as Hepatitis C. The course describes the Exposure Control Plan and lists proper procedures to follow if an exposure occurs. Universal precautions are emphasized, with explanations about PPE, handling contaminated PPE, and personal hygiene. The course covers procedures to follow when cleaning, decontaminating, or disposing of exposed surfaces or materials.
