Included is material regarding refereeing, conditioning, equipment repair, and many drills. The chapters on epee and saber fencing fundamentals serve as introductions to those weapons. Teachers will find a useful chapter on class organization and presentation of skills in a physical education or group learning situation. Appendix E offers insights into conditioning for fencing-flexibility, endurance, and strength. Appendix B provides information regarding the maintenance and repair of electric foils. In addition to drills covered within the text, there is a separate appendix devoted entirely to many drills that can be used by individuals or in classes.
