Barrie through James Bridie, Ena Lamont Stewart, Liz Lochhead and Edwin Morgan, to women playwrights of the 1970s, the playwriting of Peter Arnott, Jo Clifford, Chris Hannan, Stephen Greenhorn, David Greig and David Harrower in the 1980s and 1990s, and contemporary playwrights Anthony Neilson, Gregory Burke, Henry Adams and Douglas Maxwell.
