5starcooks Digital competence A Complete Guide

Digital competence is the cornerstone of modern business performance, yet many organizations lack a clear, repeatable way to measure and improve it. Without a structured approach, gaps remain hidden, projects stall, and competitive advantage erodes. This book delivers a proven Self-Assessment methodology built around the RDMAICS framework - Recognize, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control, Sustain. Each of the seven criteria contains dozens of targeted questions that probe every facet of digital competence. Readers rate each item on a five-point scale, and the system automatically generates a radar-chart Scorecard that highlights strengths and pinpointed weaknesses. The process is intuitive enough for teams with limited digital expertise to quickly obtain a realistic snapshot of their organization's digital readiness. Included Professional Toolkit (30+ Deliverables): Upon purchase, a fresh, topic-specific toolkit is emailed to the buyer. It is organized into ten sections - Getting Started, Assessment and Planning, Models and Frameworks, Processes and Handoffs, Operations and Execution, Performance and KPIs, Quality and Compliance, Sustainment and Support, Advanced Topics, and Reference. All 30+ assets are tailor-made for digital competence and include Excel spreadsheets for data collection, PDF guides for step-by-step implementation, and markdown runbooks for quick reference. The deliverables are created at the moment of purchase to reflect the latest standards, models, and best practices, eliminating generic project-management templates. Every purchase guarantees Lifetime Updates. As digital competence frameworks evolve and new regulations emerge, the author provides updated content and refreshed toolkit materials at no additional cost, ensuring that buyers always work with current guidance. This resource is ideal for Chief Digital Officers, IT Governance Managers, and Business Process Architects who need a concrete, actionable plan to evaluate and raise digital capability across their enterprise. For example, a compliance manager can use the Scorecard to identify gaps in digital policy adherence, then apply the toolkit's Quality and Compliance section to design corrective actions. Developed by The Art of Service, business process architects serving over 100,000 professionals across 160 countries since 2000. Each book and accompanying toolkit draws on 25 years of operational excellence research and a continuously updated knowledge base that spans hundreds of industry frameworks.
