He has many years of direct practice, program development, and management experience. In addition to being a program development and evaluation consultant for human service organizations and a coach for Project STAR, he is also a grant proposal reviewer for various government agencies. He publishes and teaches on family health social work practice, substance abuse and high-risk behaviors, diversity, grant writing, and research and program evaluation. Kenneth L. Terao is Vice President of Aguirre International, a social science research firm located in San Mateo, California. He has over 15 years of program management experience working in a variety of institutions and organizations, including elementary/secondary education, higher education, community organizations, law enforcement, and local government agencies.
