Cengage Learning Version 2.0 for Windows (Scientific Workplace)

Combining the ease of use of a technical word processor with the typesetting power of TeX and the numerical, symbolic and graphic computational facilities of Maple, this software gives users a "workplace environment" to do all their work. It includes full implementations of TeX, LaTex and a Maple kernel, so users do not have to purchase any of these products - everything for superproductivity is included in one program. This tool for scientific creativity in the classroom gives users access to some powerful technological tools in a single word processing environment. Users can create TeX documents without learning TeX and can access the powerful computer algebra system Maple without knowing anything about Maple. With this software users will be computing, writing and graphing mathematics inside their word processing documents in seconds. No special codes are necessary. And, because they don't have to use several different applications at once or deal with formatting issues as they write, users can enjoy creativity and productivity. Using a computer-driven rejection panel to create an enlarged view, teachers can provide interactive class sessions, including discussion, computations, graphics and immediate answers to "what if?" questions from students.
