This book will provide a comprehensive, illustrated guide to the diagnosis and interpretation of breast pathology. The book is primarily aimed at the pathologist in practice and intraining. The book will comprise of some 1,600 illustrations (1,500 of which will be in 4 colour) and will cover all tumour and tumour like lesions of the breast. The images will be accompanied by a concise text outlining the key histologic and cytologic features of each specimen and providing guidelines for differential diagnosis. Wherever diagnostically useful, the histopathologic specimen, will be correlated to other imaging modalities such as ultrasound and plain film. A list of key references will be found at the end of each chapter. A comprehensive visual reference (1,500 colour illustrations) will serve as a practical benchside guide to diagnosis. Covers the full range of diseases of the Breast encountered by the pathologist including rare and difficult to diagnose disorders. Concise, clinically relevant text includes flow diagrams and bullet points makes the information accessible and easy to use. Emphasis on differential diagnosis reflects modern clinical practice in pathology. Histopathologic specimens correlated with radiographic images as an aid to accurate diagnosis. Includes fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). No other book combines both histologic and cytologic diagnosis.
