It also identifies strategies for addressing and preventing the currently increasing severity and pervasiveness of the epidemic among women and their families worldwide. About the Author Josephine Allen is Professor of Social Work in the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University. She is also Professor Emerita at Cornell University in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management. Andrea Parrot is Professor in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University.
