The conclusion discusses the challenges for Taiwan in the twenty-first century. About the Author Roger Bristow is both Visiting Professor at the National Taipei University and Feng-Chia University in Taiwan and Senior Research Fellow in the School of Environment and Development at the University of Manchester, UK.
