About the Author Molefi Kete Asante is Professor of African American Studies at Temple University. He is the author of over 75 books including The History of Africa: The Quest for Eternal Harmony and The African American People: A Global History. Yoshitaka Miike is Associate Professor of Intercultural Communication at the University of Hawai‘i, Hilo. He is Vice-Chair (2012-2013) and Chair (2013-2014) of the National Communication Association’s International and Intercultural Communication Division. Jing Yin is Associate Professor of International Communication at the University of Hawai‘i, Hilo, and a Fellow at the Molefi Kete Asante Institute for Afrocentric Studies.
