He graduated from the University of Bologna with a dissertation on the semantics of proper names in Wittgenstein’s Philosophical Investigations. He was a research fellow of the Institute for Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at the University of Bologna. He has twice been awarded grants for research concerning Wittgenstein’s philosophy of psychology at the Wittgenstein Archives at the University of Bergen. D. K. Levy is a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. He received his Ph.D. from King’s College, University of London. He has published concerning Wittgenstein and moral philosophy.
