About the Author Young-Cheol Chang was born in South Korea; he received a Ph.D. from Gifu University in Japan. Currently, he is working as a professor in the Department of Applied Sciences at Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan. He successfully completed a Research Fellowship at the University of Central Florida, USA. His research has included biodegradation of xenobiotic compounds and biopolymers (bioplastics) production. Based on his research and fellowship training, he has received several awards and honors.
