She is also a Post-doctoral Clinical Academic Midwife and Professional Midwifery Advocate linked to the Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton. Kate Ashforth is a clinical midwife working in a midwifery led pathway team for the University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
