Jan Willem Duyvendak is Distinguished Research Professor of Sociology at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Anita Hardon is Professor in Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she also leads the interdisciplinary research priority area Global Health.
