About the Author Leigh Anne Howard studies the performance of personal and social identity, as well as performance methodology. She has published articles in Text and Performance Quarterly, Journal of Applied Communication Research, Communication Education, the American Behavioral Scientist, the Journal of Intercultural Communication, and the Journal of Fandom Studies. Susanna Hoeness-Krupsaw teaches English and Humanities at the University of Southern Indiana. Her research interests include American and Canadian literature and the graphic novel. She has recently published on "The Role of Talk Story in Maxine Hong Kingston and Amy Tan," "Teaching March in the Borderlands between Social Justice and Pop Culture" and "Mary Gordon."
