About the Author Claud Mullins was a magistrate, lawyer and writer who was responsible for much English judicial reform in the 1930s, especially regarding those in debt and those in court over matrimonial dispute. Some of his views were controversial but he is remembered for his pioneering role in seeking to civilize the legal consequences of family breakdown.
