Description

Product Description The issue of Nicaragua arouses political passions, those that we see expressed almost daily in the newspapers of Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Few issues are more divisive within the politics of certain countries, and the evolution of the Nicaraguan drama threatens to drive a wedge between countries that are friends, allies, and pa About the Author Jiri Valenta was educated at the Prague School of Economics and Johns Hopkins University. Former coordinator of Soviet and East European studies at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, Professor Valenta was also a fellow at the Brookings Institution, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars among other appointments.
