Product Description Essential Thinking Through Science extends the thinking skills approach to science to lower attaining pupils. Following the structure of the original texts and QCA Scheme of Work, it includes activities to develop the skills needed to investigate, reason and communicate science. The carefully controlled language level of the text and clear diagrams are used to make the concepts accessible to a wide range of pupils. Questions and instructions for activities are broken down into small steps to make them easier to follow and they are supported by a wide range of editable worksheets on the CD-ROM. The Pupil's Books are also supported by Teacher's Resource Books that contain answers to questions, advise on pupils' misconceptions, teaching tips, suggestions for timing, information on attainment level and technician's notes About the Author Mary Jones is an experienced author of secondary science textbooks.
