Description

Product Description Microbial Symbionts: Functions and Molecular Interactions on Host consists of four broad sections with a focus on microbial symbionts of plants, animals, insects and molecular methods in identification of microbial symbionts. It describes the molecular mechanism, interactions of symbiosis of microbiome in plants, animals, and humans. It brings the latest techniques for identification, localization and functional characterization of host-associated microbes and explains the role/importance of microbial symbionts. Microbial Symbionts: Functions and Molecular Interactions on Host is a reference that covers a wide range of symbiotic microorganisms used for basic and advanced techniques associated with the isolation, characterization, identification of microbial symbiotic microorganisms and their functions and molecular interactions on the host. This reference also helps to plan and execute experiments with appropriate knowledge rather than experimental trial and error. It provides basic knowledge and working protocols for a wide range of disciplines like Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, and zoology. Review Covers a wide range of symbiotic microorganisms used for basic and advanced techniques associated with the isolation, characterization, identification of microbial symbiotic microorganisms About the Author Dr.?Dharumadurai Dhanasekaran PhD is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. He has experience in the fields of actinobacteriology and mycology. His current research focus is microbiome profiling of actinorhizal root nodules, lichen, poultry gut, cattle’s reproductive system. He has been awarded UGC-Raman Post-Doctoral Fellowship and worked in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Biomedical Sciences, University of New Hampshire, Durham, USA. He published 106 research and review articles including one paper in Nature Group Journal Scientific Report and 23 Book chapters. He has h-index of 26 with total citation of 2157 (Google scholar). Dr. Dharmadurai Dhanasekaran is rated in second position as in the field of Actinobacteria research in India.
