He received his training in neuroanesthesia and PhD (neuroanesthesia) from the same institute. He is a recipient of the AIIMS Excellence Award for his notable contribution to academics. He has more than 250 publications in both national and international journals to his credit. He is a reviewer for various national and international journals. He is a guide and mentor to many DM and PhD students. Dr. Prabhakar is also a review author for the Cochrane Collaboration and has special interest in evidence-based practice of neuroanesthesia. He is a member of various national and international neuroanesthesia societies and the past secretary of the Indian Society of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care. He is also the past secretary of the Society of Neurocritical Care, India. He is an invited faculty for various national and international conferences. He is on the editorial board of the Indian Journal of Palliative Care and is the past executive editor of the Journal of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care. Dr. Charu Mahajan is an associate professor in the Department of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. After completing DM in Neuroanesthesiology at AIIMS, she later joined the department as a faculty member. She has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals and books, as well as received awards for scientific presentations. She is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Neuroanesthesiology and Critical Care and is a reviewer for several related scientific journals. Her areas of special interest are subarachnoid hemorrhage, awake craniotomy, and pediatric neuroanesthesia. Dr. Indu Kapoor is an associate professor in the Department of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. She received her training in neuroanesthesia at the same institute. She is the recipient of the prestigious Dr. T. N. JHA Memorial Award in 2009, by the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA). She has also received the SMT Chandra and SH Narayan Wadhwani Memorial Awards for best outgoing postgraduate in anesthesia at the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, in 2010.
