Radiation Dosimetry Phosphors is suitable for those working in academia and R&D laboratories in the discipline of materials science and engineering and practitioners working in radiation and dosimetry. About the Author Prof. Sanjay J. Dhoble obtained his M.Sc. degree in Physics from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, India in 1988 and Ph.D. degree in 1992 in Solid State Physics from Nagpur University, Nagpur. Dr. Dhoble is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Physics, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. His research area includes synthesis and characterization of solid-state lighting materials, development of radiation dosimetry phosphors using thermoluminescence techniques. He has 18 granted patents, more than 705 research papers in Scopus, and several books. Consecutively in the years 2020 and 2021, Dr. Dhoble stands among the “Top 2% Scientists in the World in the list published by US’ Stanford University. He is a recipient of several Research Awards. Dr. Vibha Chopra is an Assistant Professor at DAV College, affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Amritsar, India. She has 10 years of teaching experience and 12 years of research experience. She completed her PhD in the topic “Dosimetric aspects of boron based nanocrystalline thermoluminescent phosphors. Her areas of research interest are: Preparation and characterization of thermoluminescence radiation dosimetry phosphors, Growth and study of defects in crystalline and microcrystalline solids and Development of devices for measuring luminescence.
