The main work examines the impact of modernisation on enforcement by national authorities and courts, while coverage of national decisions post-modernisation is integrated in the book, using information collated from a network of key correspondents in the Member States. Increased coverage of the new system has been introduced in particular within the chapter on the Community Context and the Role of Member States. The supplement contains paragraph by paragraph updates on legislative and case law developments, giving detailed commentary on their significance. It includes sections that outline new case law and legislation from the Community institutions, and reports significant developments in the courts of the member states. There are also updates on merger cases and materials and an updated list of reported cases. The comprehensive accompanying volume of European Union competition law materials (edited by Andrew Macnab, a barrister at Monckton Chambers) has been fully updated to include all of the relevant legislation, Commission Notices and Guidelines, and provides detailed cross-references to the commentary in the main work.
