This Teacher's Handbook supports Oxford Reading Tree Stages 3-5 (Book Bands Yellow-Green). It contains easy-to-use Reading Assessments developed by NFER for every Benchmark Book. These help you find the right reading level for each child, gather evidence of their reading achievement, and identify strengths and weaknesses. It also offers advice and practical support on how, when and why to carry out reading assessment in your classroom. With time-saving record sheets linked to curriculum levels and assessment focuses, tracking individual, group and class progress is made easy. It also includes a What Next section, a bank of activity ideas, photocopiable activity templates and reward certificates. Support is also offered for those using with Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence, the Northern Ireland Curriculum and the Revised Curriculum for Wales.
