Dr. Cheng is the President of American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM) and immediate past Chair of the US Section of World Institute of Pain. He has recently been appointed to the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Pain Management Best Practices Inter-agency Task Force (PMTF). Dr. Cheng is also a member of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Expert Work Group (EWG).
