She holds a PhD degree in biology with specialization in molecular biology from the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Laboratory of Lev L. Kisselev. Dr. Paley’s research focuses mainly on protein biosynthesis in biology and diseases and is conducted in collaboration with Harvard University, Brandeis University, the University of Miami, Tel Aviv University, the Institut des Vaisseaux et du Sang (Paris, France), and the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, FL, United States, and is inventor in patents issued and pending.
