About the Author Dr. Sougata Ghosh currently works as a visiting professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. He was a visiting professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University inBoston, USA. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology, School of Science, RK. University inIndia. He obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University in India. He is the principal investigator of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India-funded Foldscope Research Project. He has filed three patents on novel nanodrugs and has published 77 book chapters and more than 69 highly cited research articles in various international journals like the International Journal of Nanomedicine, Journal of Nanobiotechnology, Journal of Nanomaterials, and the Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
