As nanotechnology has the potential to substantially improve current water and wastewater treatment processes, the synthesis methods and physiochemical properties of nanomaterials and noble metal nanoparticles make their performance and mechanisms efficient for the treatment of various pollutants. Bhanvase is currently working as Professor and Head in Chemical Engineering Department at the Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. His research interests focus on Wastewater Treatment, Solid Waste Management, Cavitation based processes for production, Nanomaterials and Nanocomposites, Process Intensification, Microfluidics, and Nanofluids. He obtained Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Pune. He has written 29 book chapters in internationally renowned books, 3-edited book. Further, he is a recipient of the Young Scientists (Award) start- up research grant from Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi (India) in the year 2015. Also he was the recipient of Best Scientist Award from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in 2017. Dr. Shirish Sonawane is currently working as Professor and Head in Chemical Engineering Department National Institute of Technology Warangal, Telangana State, India. His research Interest focuses on synthesis of hybrid nanomaterials, cavitation based inorganic particle synthesis, Sonochemical synthesis of nanolatex. Process Intensification by cavitation. Dr. Sonawane is the recipient of fast track young scientist Project in year 2007 from Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Dr. Sonawane has published more than 150 research papers in reputed journals, 25 book chapters, 14 Indian patent Applications. He was a recipient of prestigious BOYSCAST Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology Govt of India in Year 2009. He is visiting academics and worked in Particle Fluid Processing Centre, University of Melbourne. He is also Heritage Fellow and worked in Chemical engineering department, Instituto Superio Technico Lisbon Portugal 2013. Completed 6 consultancies from chemical industries and 10 research projects from Govt. 10 M. Tech, 15 Ph.D awarded, 10 Ph.D. Scholars are working under his guidance. Dr. Vijay B. Pawade is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. His research, focuses on rare earth doped oxide materials and their applications in LEDs and solar cell devices, photo catalysis and published 34 papers in international peer reviewed journals. He has edited two books in Elsevier, one book in CRC press as well as published author book in CRC press. Aniruddha B. Pandit is U.G.C. Scientist "C", Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai, India His research focuses in the area of naonmaterials for sustainable technology.
