He previously served as a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT. Dr. Bhandari has been awarded three patents, with a fourth pending. He is an Associate Editor of Pediatric Research, BMC Pediatrics, Frontiers in Pediatrics and Internet Journal of Medical Update. He is on the editorial board of Journal of Perinatology. He has also served as Guest Editor, Managing Editor and Contributing Editor of several other publications. He is a manuscript reviewer for almost 100 research publications and has published over 290 peer-reviewed articles and chapters in books.
