He is currently Professor of analytical chemistry with Yasouj University, Yasouj, Iran. His research activities range from solid phase extraction methods, liquid-liquid extraction, transport of ions through liquid membrane, cloud point extraction, sensor fabrication, adsorptive stripping analysis, cyclic voltammetry, spectrophotometry in surfactant media, trace analysis, to water treatment.
