From 2010 to 2015, he worked as a professor and the Dean of faculty of engineering at Koya University in Iraq. Dr. Khoshnaw received his PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, in 2010. Previously, he studied Metallurgical Engineering BSc (1986) at the Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq, from where he received a MSc (1991) and PhD (1995). In 2004, he became a Chevening scholar by finishing business to drive the technology transfer and the commercialization of the innovation program at the Centre of Scientific Enterprise Limited in London Business School, London. In terms of publications, he has published many research papers in journals and international conferences about structural integrity, failure analysis, corrosion, welding, additive manufacturing, and biomaterials. Rolf Gubner is Adjunct Professor at the School of Engineering Edit Cowan University, Australia and Principal Corrosion Engineer at Next Advanced Solutions Pty Ltd, a company specialized in Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII), Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and Asset Management. Dr Gubner is the first qualified Association for Materials Protection and Performance (former NACE International and SSPC) IMPACT Plus Navigator in Australia. Previously, he was Professor of Corrosion at the Curtin Corrosion Center in Western Australia for over 10 years and the inaugural Chevron-Woodside chair in corrosion engineering. Dr. Gubner is active on several editorial boards and has published over 100 pee-reviewed articles.
