The second half of the book focuses on the treatment of OCRDs, covering both psychological therapies (e.g. inhibitory learning informed exposure, tech-based CBT applications) and biologically oriented therapies (e.g. neuromodulation). Dr. Storch has received multiple grants from federal agencies for his research (i.e., NIH, CDC), is a Fulbright Scholar, and has published over 14 books and over 500 articles and chapters. He specializes in the nature and treatment of childhood and adult obsessive-compulsive disorder and related conditions, anxiety disorders, and anxiety among youth with autism. Professor & Associate Chair for Graduate Studies, Department of Psychology, Fordham University, Bronx NY Dr. Abramowitz is Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an internationally recognized expert on the treatment of OCD and has published over 100 journal articles, books chapters, or books on this and related topics. He has received awards from the Mayo Clinic, American Psychological Association (Division 12) and the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation. Dr. Abramowitz serves as Associate Editor of Behavior Research and Therapy and on the editorial boards of several professional journals. He was a members of the DSM-IV-TR Anxiety Disorders Work Group.
