The wide diversity of topics, high quality, theoretical impact and applications of contributed results acknowledged the following: • Control, which is mainly automatic today, is the brain of every industrial system • Industrial systems automatic control necessitates a permanent interaction between systems and control science, and control engineering • Automatics is a self-contained and complete scientific and engineering discipline on automatic control, and as such, it has been interacting with almost all other scientific, engineering and social areas • Automatic control implies new job forms and qualifications, thus representing the area of the widely growing research and professional possibilities for pacific contributions to the well-being of humanity • Automatics is one of the most perspective disciplines open to young engineers and scientists.
