About the Author Margaret Barron has many years experience lecturing in the area of business law and justice studies, and is a full-time lecturer at the School of Justice Studies at Adelaide Institute of TAFE. Margaret has written extensively within the TAFE system. Margaret has a degree in law and a graduate diploma in legal practice, and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia. Richard is employed as a full-time lecturer in the School of Justice Studies at the Adelaide Institute of TAFE. He is also employed as a reporter for the South Australian State Reports. Richard holds a degree in Laws and Arts from the University of Adelaide. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Social Science and a Graduate Diploma in Education at Charles Sturt University. Admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia, Richard has worked as a solicitor in general practice. In addition, he is familiar with the practical aspects of business law having operated a small business (a bookshop). Richard has extensive experience as a legal researcher and has worked as a Research Officer with the Australian Securities Commission, Bond Investigation, the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody and as an Associate to the Right Honourable Justice Matheson, a Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
