The A Midsummer Night’s Dream CD-ROM (PC) is part of the acclaimed BBC Shakespeare on CD-ROM series. Included in each pack are: A copy of the respected Alexander edition of the play•Photocopiable Teacher’s Notes written by a Chief Examiner•A User Guide•The CD-ROM. The CD-ROM includes around 30 minutes of video clips from the classic BBC TV production of the play, a full audio performance, additional extracts from the BBC TV and radio archives, information on the life and times of Shakespeare (including the rebuilt Globe), and background material covering many aspects of performance. There is also a wealth of pictures from such sources The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Shakespeare Archive at Birmingham City Library. He produced an astonishing amount of work; 37 plays, 154 sonnets, and 5 poems. He died on 23rd April 1616, aged 52, and was buried in the Holy Trinity Church, Stratford.
