From the Back Cover If students are to achieve the best grade possible in the new GCSE examinations, they will have to be familiar with rubrics in the target language and the task types across the four skills. This bank of photocopiable resources will provide teachers with exam practice materials that has been written by Chief Examiners and Subject Officers of the major examining groups. The materials are organised into Areas of Experience and into three levels of difficulty: Higher tier, Foundation tier and the “overlap” grades, for maximum ease of access. Guidance is also offered on how to approach the optional coursework element in Speaking. Students are provided with tips on exam preparation, how to revise, using a dictionary in the exam, and with a glossary of target language rubrics. This resource will also be useful for students preparing for Standard Grade examinations.
