New COIL "Time Machines" remix coming soon from EBM project Phobia Effect A reverent reinterpretation of Coil's 1998 ambient masterpiece Phobia Effect, the Electronic/EBM project of Luxembourg singer and musician Juda A, will release a new remix of the Coil 1998 ambient classic "Time Machines" (originally released under the one-off project alias Time Machines). Entitled simply "Phobia Effect Presents: Time Machines", the reimagined album will be released via Rune Serpent Europa on 21 June 2025, with exclusive distribution via The Circle Music. With an unwavering devotion to the legacy of Coil, Phobia Effect has revisited this album, enriching it with subtle new layers of sound, mixed and remixed with originality and profound care. This reinterpretation stays true to the conceptual core of the source material while offering a fresh and hauntingly familiar listening experience. The album unfolds as a mesmerising journey through apocalyptic yet meditative ambient soundscapes, rich in texture and nuance.
