Urine Collection: The urine sample does not require any special handling or pre-treatment. The sample should be tested as soon as possible. If that is not possible, the urine sample can be stored at 2-8°C (standard refrigeration) for up to 2 days prior to testing. Sample needs to be brought to room temperature and mixed prior to testing. Test Procedure: Test must be used within 1 hour once opened from packaging due to humidity and temperature factors. Remove cap from the test card and immerse the test vertically, in the sample of urine for at least 5-10 seconds - do not let urine touch the plastic casing. Lay test card down on a flat surface and wait 5 minutes for results. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes as they can change due to breakdown of the reagents. This test will pick up all Opiates such as: Methadone, Heroin, Morphine, Codeine, Tramadol, Oxycodone (Vicodin), Buprenorphine (Subutex), Dihydrocodeine, Fentanyl, Pethidine, Tapentadol, Hydromorphone and Pentazocine.
