The traditional shackle is replaced by a 4.74 mm steel cable with PVC coating. They complete the range of Brady security locks and have the same features. These dielectric padlocks can be used with ease and safety in an electrical environment. The single cylinder is insulated to protect workers from electric shock when inserting the key. In addition, the precision of the machining of the 5 spindles allows the design of unique notches, thus offering optimal resistance to burglary. The lock with key retention system provides optimum security; its special format prevents the key from being removed until the padlock shackle is closed. Compact and lightweight, these padlocks offer excellent resistance to impact, temperature extremes, chemicals and corrosion. Their dielectric and non-sparking body has a grooved coating for easy grip and handling. 1 key supplied with each padlock. Key retainer (key will not come off if padlock shackle is not engaged).
