Plaato is a brand new way to analyse your ongoing fermentation process. It is an advanced digital fermentation bung that continuously measures the CO2 flow escaping from your brew and converts it into information about specific weight, fermentation activity, alcohol content and ambient temperature. The information is sent to the Plaato smartphone app via WiFi. The whole process is 100 % non-invasive. All data is stored for later use. This gives the brewer all the tools needed to track every detail of various brews, to maintain consistency or make changes to new batches of beer. With the Plaato app, you can connect one or more units to your interface: Assessment of the specific weight (SW). Monitor how the yeast is transforming your ingredients. Plaato measures the exact amount of the CO2 produced by the fermentation, from which the specific weight (SG) is estimated and sent to the app, giving you the opportunity to track the process firsthand. Activity: now you’ll always be kept informed about fermentation activity. Plaato uses the bubbles produced by fermentation to monitor the activity of your brew. A precise count of each individual bubble allows the process to be completely and non-invasively monitored. Analysis: create fermentation reports from each batch. Each batch is unique. Plaato extracts the data and analyses all available information, giving you a comprehensive insight into the fermentation process. It has “Advanced” and “Key Metrics” modes. Size and weight: 160 mm. Diameter. 44 mm. Weight: 150 g. Electronics: built-in WiFi 3 control LEDs to display CO2 pressure. Digital temperature sensor communicates via the Internet with the app. Technology: non-invasive infrared sensors, high-quality, BPA-free Tritan plastic. Power supply: via USB. Memory: it provides and stores data about the specific weight, temperature and fermentation activity. It also provides time analysis that gives you an accurate date for completing the fermentation process. Other information: maximum brewing volume: 50 L. Waterproof and easy to clean.
