If you are unsure as to the location of the cell tower the XPOL-1 is a great choice of omni-directional antenna. If you are sure as to where the cell tower is then the directional XPOL-2 is a great alternative to consider.
Note: This antenna is really designed for outdoor use and get it as high as possible in order that it can 'see' the cell tower. If mounted too low and blocked by windows/walls/buildings then you will not see an improvement in your signal.
