It is extremely difficult to extract oil from the petals of the rose due to the fragility of the petals, meaning that the production process is challenging and very time-consuming. Rose Absolute is solvent extracted from a rose 'concrete'. Rose Absolute is often favoured by fragrance formulators and perfume manufacturers for its fragrance, aromatic strength and lower cost than Rose Otto Essential Oil or Rose CO2 Extract. Try blending 4 drops of Rose, 3 drops of Lavender, 1 drop of Roman Chamomile and 2 drops of Geranium in 30ml of Peach Kernel oil for a night-time facial oil. Do not use Rose during the first four months of pregnancy. Please also note that this oil comes in a 5ml bottle making it appear half-full, so rest assured that your oil has not been underfilled or leaked.
