As well as examining origins and outcomes of neoliberal university policies and practices, the authors locate the wave of contention within wider social and political contexts, providing valuable conclusions for anyone with an interest in social, political and related studies. About the Author Donatella Della Porta is Professor of Political Science, Dean of the Department of Political and the Social Sciences and Director of the PhD program in Political Science and Sociology at the Scuola Normale Superiore, where she also leads the Center on Social Movement Studies (Cosmos). Lorenzo Cini is a research fellow in the Department of Political Social Sciences at the Scuola Normale Superiore, and a research member of Cosmos. Cesar Guzman-Concha is a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Geneva. He has worked and collaborated with universities in Spain, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Chile.
