About the Author Abdul Wahab Mohammad is currently Professor in Membrane and Separation Technology at the Centre for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He received his PhD from University of Wales Swansea in the area of nanofiltration membranes, and MSChE from Purdue University, USA and BSChE from Lehigh University, USA. His research interest is on membranes science and applications, wastewater treatment, water reuse and recycling, sustainable separation technology and engineering education. He has worked on research projects related to membrane technology and its application in water and wastewater treatment, desalination, biorefinery and food processing. He has published more than 250 journal papers with citation exceeding 8000 and h-index of 39. He is the co-editor of an Elsevier journal, Journal of Water Process Engineering which was launched in 2014. He was the co-recipient of 2008 Prince Sultan International Water Prize for his work on nanofiltration membranes and the recipient of the Malaysia Toray Foundation Science Award in 2015.
